The ideal candidate will drive business development and work closely with various stakeholders across Italy. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, fluency in Italian and English, and a valid driver's license.

Our client is a startup focused on harnessing artificial intelligence and computer vision to assist the visually impaired. They have developed an innovative, smart, wearable camera with an intuitive interface to improve daily life for users.

Required Qualifications:
  1. At least 2 years of experience in business development, field sales, customer success, or marketing.
  2. Comfort working with elderly and individuals with special needs; experience in the low vision industry is a plus but not mandatory.
  3. Fluent in Italian and English.
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation, verbal and written communication, customer service, and telephone etiquette.
  5. Self-motivated with strong time management skills; comfortable working independently outside the office.
  6. Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
  7. Willingness to travel extensively across Italy.
Job Responsibilities:
  1. Drive business development and sales of the products.
  2. Manage relationships with distributors, resellers, local councils, government agencies, corporations, low vision organizations, clinics, and opticians.
  3. Promote awareness within the low vision ecosystem by collaborating with assistive technology agencies and community organizations.
  4. Present and demonstrate products to organizations and potential users.
  5. Participate in marketing activities, events, and trade shows.
  6. Provide training on device usage, benefits, and value for users and organizations.
  7. Coordinate daily with team members, report activities, and participate in sales meetings or calls.
Measurement of Success:
  1. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  2. Receive positive feedback from partners, distributors, colleagues, and customers.
