The position
We are currently looking for a Field Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer Internal within our team in Italy, preferably based in Milano or Torino but this is not essential.
Our new Field Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer Internal will be responsible for managing a focused selection of customers to complement our needs as a company as we grow in the test and measurement industry.
Your role will be primarily aerospace, automotive and other industry-focused, also has the potential for application focused sales depending on knowledge and background.
Your primary area of focus will be in data acquisition, software, sensors and services in targeted at automotive, aerospace and industry applications.
We are looking for a knowledgeable Sales Engineer with a background in the Mechanical field.
You will join our dedicated sales team supporting the Italian regional business. You will become part of the Italian and Spanish sales team, with 8 sales members and 5 Application Engineers.
Primary Responsibilities
Sales-oriented activities :
Answering, qualifying and visiting potential / existing customers and generating enquiries through professional sales techniques using a consultative approach to get to customer concepts and demonstrating the unique strengths of working with HBK
Using appropriate hardware, information and materials
Acquiring new customers and supporting colleagues with specific product and technical knowledge – working as a team is important
Preparing quotations using CRM and price lists
Preparing more detailed proposals from tender specifications
Providing feedback to the company in the form of reports and forecasts
Involvement in promotional and marketing activities in your area
General assistance activities :
Monthly Reporting
Team meetings via Teams
General shared team activities in Italy
Professional Qualifications
You will hold a Bachelors, Masters or equivalent degree in an engineering or a technically based discipline.
Personal Skills
Italian as mother language and high level of English is needed.
