In this position, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships and bookings with our current and prospective clients, identifying new opportunities for value creation within assigned accounts, and understanding the specific needs and challenges of various collaborators within those accounts.

Responsibilities:

1. Developing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with account collaborators, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and dedication, driving account plans to acquire accounts, identifying product white spaces, creating demand, and identifying green- or brownfield project opportunities.
2. Stakeholder engagement, mapping out key partners within customer organizations, understanding their roles and responsibilities, and building relationships between them and the various Emerson sales personas.
3. Conducting detailed needs assessments in collaboration with BDMs to identify customer pains, problems, and challenges that our products or solutions can address. Understanding the customer's business drivers and operational environment.
4. Presenting and differentiating tailored solutions to partners, demonstrating how our products can meet their specific needs and solve their problems.
5. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within assigned accounts from lead to PO, focusing on enhancing our product portfolio, including filling whitespace and generating new demand.
6. Working closely with support teams, BDMs, and specialists to ensure high-quality customer conversations and solution development. Assigning ownership of complex or long-lead pursuits to Solutions BDM or project pursuit leaders.
7. Realizing price through the portfolio, creating customer value, and defining account strategies balancing price and volume.
8. Staying informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of market demands.

Requirements:

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in process automation.
• 3-5 years of proven sales experience, ideally in instrumentation or a related technical field.
• Strong technical skills and the ability to quickly learn complex products and service offerings.
• Experience in CRM.
• Fluency in Italian.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
• Availability to travel up to 60% of the time throughout the Lombardia region.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven track record of effectively identifying business opportunities and achieving desired outcomes.
• Ability to work within a complex matrix organization and collaborate across business units.
