Introduction

The Food & Water division is a highly international business offering a challenging position in an open and friendly environment.

The Service Division for the Food & Water Segment is looking for a Field Sales Engineer for the Food and Water Service Division, based at the Monza site, for the Italian market.

What about the job

The candidate will develop and support sales within the Food and Beverage and Waste Water industries, focusing on separation and heat transfer technologies.

He/she will be responsible for:

  • Promoting, developing, and securing penetration of after-sales solutions across the entire installed base in the region (Italy)
  • Achieving sales targets
  • Identifying customer needs and proposing suitable solutions for Waste Water, Food, and Beverage processes
  • Supporting sales activities by visiting customers and proposing technical and engineering solutions
  • Taking full ownership of customer relationships, supporting them in problem-solving processes, and being their reference point during critical situations, facilitating internal processes to exceed customer expectations
  • Proposing the entire service portfolio to enable customer success

What you know

Priority will be given to:

  • A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Food)
  • 3-5 years of work experience in technical sales, preferably in Waste Water and/or Food processing
  • Availability to travel within Italy approximately 50% of the time
  • A valid driving license and Italian as mother tongue (mandatory)
  • Excellent verbal and written English language skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments and Office suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with CRM and other sales and technical tools used daily
  • Previous experience working in a multinational company
  • Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and dynamism
