Job Description

As Field Sales and New Business Developer, you are a cornerstone to realize our growth ambitions in Italy. You will develop and immediately contribute to the commercial plan, identifying opportunities in the market, building and maintaining a relevant network, drawing up tenders and contracts, managing contract and customer administration, and taking care of the implementation of BauWatch solutions and services sold. You will work closely with our marketing team and support marketing activities, e.g., by giving company presentations and attending trade fairs.

Responsibilities

  1. Drive sales growth by acquiring new customers and following up on marketing leads.
  2. Give company presentations, engage in new business development activities, and attend trade fairs.
  3. Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing customers, build your own network, and follow up on commercial opportunities to ensure lasting customer relationships by responding to customer needs and informing them of new developments and solutions.
  4. Visit potential customer sites regularly within your assigned geographical area, including cold visits and technical evaluations.
  5. Support the Key Account Team in developing new customers.

Job Requirements

  1. 3-5 years of relevant sales experience.
  2. Interest or experience in visiting construction sites.
  3. Previous experience or relationships in construction, renewables, or security industries.
  4. Willingness to travel within your area and periodically to Milan headquarters.
  5. Technology skills: Good knowledge of MS Office; preferably experience with CRM systems like Salesforce.
  6. Language skills: Native Italian speaker; conversational English for internal communication.
  7. Valid full driver’s license.
