Who We Are:

Maa-Althahab is a Subsidiary brand from MAISON DE MAA Group, a leading and most famous fragrance brand in the Middle East and Africa. Founded in 2006, the company pursued innovative thinking in making unique global perfumes which match the lifestyles and personalities of all clients.

Primary Function:

Organizing all marketing materials of all offline events, monitor and optimize budget efficiency for event/offline activations. Collect and analyze performance of every activity and make actionable recommendations for both short and long-term perspectives. Responsible for the assigned Host-Country's marketing communications activities with the goal of establishing and improving its competitive positioning in the market to support sales lead generation.

Key Performance Areas:

  1. Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits and trends.
  2. Manage offline marketing activities (Events, Exhibitions, Activations, Newspapers, Magazines, Billboards, Radio, T.V, Printed materials, etc.).
  3. Managing and producing all offline artwork including amends through until completion.
  4. Allocate codes for all marketing materials ensuring accurate and timely set-up.
  5. Produce briefs for Printing and Production with all relevant information to ensure efficient processing of each stage of the print process.
  6. Brief the contact center on upcoming activity to optimize the customer experience of live promotions.
  7. Process invoices from suppliers and communicate with the accounting team to finalize and settle invoices.
  8. Assist marketing managers in managing integrated marketing campaigns across offline tactics.
  9. Assist and monitor the team with the management of agency relationships and performance.
  10. Support the rest of the marketing team in the collation and interpretation of campaign results and make recommendations for improvements.
  11. Review competitor activity including creation of guard files and produce reports for the team.
  12. Keep up to date on marketing innovations and opportunities and report these to the team.
  13. Play a role of Project manager for marketing campaigns in Direct Mail and other growth channels: developing strategy, planning, execution, budgeting, and analysis.
  14. Coordinate with the Brand Team on creative assets (approval of design, copy and landing pages).
  15. Experience in handling Suppliers and advertising agencies.
  16. Provide recommendations for future strategic initiatives through competitive and financial analysis.
  17. Translate complex data and analytical models into insights that can be used to develop marketing strategies.
  18. Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning, etc.).
  19. Reporting: Create monthly targeting files.
  20. Measure and report performance of all campaigns, assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  21. Create and maintain new automations to support more efficient processes across the department.

Core Competency Framework:

Knowledge:

  • BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, or similar relevant field.
  • In-depth knowledge of traditional, field marketing, trade marketing and market research methods.
  • Applicable knowledge in marketing data analytics and tools.

Skills:

  • 2-4 years in growth marketing, print media or project management, ideally in a fast-moving technology company or similar, with almost 2 years of experience in Offline, trade, field marketing activities.
  • Experience with Events, Exhibitions, printed materials, activations organization, conducting on-ground research.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing software, working effectively within Google suite is a plus.
  • Good in Arabic, English and French (written and spoken), with excellent communication and presentation skills.
