Learn more at Summary and Role Purpose The Field Marketing Specialist will develop and manage marketing programs for the ANSYS regional sales teams. This position works closely with key program stakeholders including product marketing managers, industry marketing managers, product managers, support teams and ANSYS regional sales teams. The primary objective of the role is demand generation through successful campaign execution and understanding of key territory and industry trends, strategic market opportunities and sales priorities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning and executing marketing strategies.
  • Activity planning: Develop and implement a marketing plan for accounts based on an industry or region with supervisor support & in collaboration with the field marketing team and local Sales.
  • Activity execution: Implement marketing activities and initiatives at industry level, ensuring they align with broader company objectives and resonate with industry audience.
  • Program management: Manages overall process of planning, organizing, and executing campaigns from start-to-finish. Define in-person and virtual event experiences, including shaping the event themes, content, agenda, and goals.
  • Reporting & analytics: Monitoring the effectiveness of marketing activities and providing reports on campaign performance, including metrics like attendance, lead generation, etc.

Minimum Education / Certification Requirements and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing
  • Ability to successfully execute a variety of marketing programs, including targeted direct mail and email, field events, social media, executive engagements, awareness campaigns
  • Experience with marketing automation systems to successfully run campaigns
  • Ability to work very independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Analytics, reporting, and written communication skills
  • Experience with marketing tactics including event management – physical and virtual- campaign execution, paid media, paid social, content syndication, and experience with the modern marketing technology stack (Pardot, Salesforce, Monday.Com) is preferred
  • Fluent in English and Italian; at least intermediate proficiency in Spanish
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • An MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience in B2B and B2C demand generation environment preferred
  • Ability to earn trust through performance and relationship-building
  • Prior experience working in a technical business setting with engineers or in engineering simulation is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and flexibly, with excellent team working skills
  • Competent in design software applications such as Photoshop & Adobe Express
  • Highly reliable : attention to detail and accuracy is a must
  • Prior experience working in a technical business setting
  • Permanent resource based in Milan – home office possibility with 1-2 days a week in the office.
