The Field Marketing Manager – IT is accountable for supporting sales revenue growth across Italy through a well-balanced marketing plan focusing on acquiring new logos and increasing market share. The main responsibility will be lead generation, with secondary support for local marketing activations and real-time event management, including trade shows, webinars, and lunch & learns.

He/She will act as a marketing advisor and support for Southern Europe GMs and DVP, ensuring that the marketing plan aligns with the country’s business objectives and key drivers.

The role reports to the Growth & Field Marketing Director for Central and Southern Europe.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Develop a deep understanding of the market landscape, including competitors, market problems, TAM, value propositions, and customer pain points.
  2. Identify key competitor strategies and ensure ADP maintains a compelling and differentiated market position.
  3. Create marketing plans aligned with ESI central strategy and local needs.
  4. Drive integrated marketing campaigns leveraging global tools and creating targeted initiatives as needed.
  5. Partner with sales, enablement, and management to foster shared ownership, planning, and success metrics.
  6. Communicate marketing activities to the sales team and support marketing communication efforts.
  7. Collaborate with regional product marketing to develop tools, training, and content highlighting local products.
  8. Coordinate with PR teams to support brand building and media coverage.
  9. Manage the marketing budget for growth initiatives.
  10. Forecast, measure, analyze, and report on program impact and ROI.
  11. Evaluate and manage local event vendors for demand creation programs.
  12. Develop and implement account-based marketing strategies with sales.
  13. Localize global marketing assets, develop case studies, sales collateral, and tools, ensuring accurate translation and localization in Italian.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
  • Extensive knowledge of payroll and HCM markets is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing practices.
  • Strategic thinking, execution skills, and credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with measurable results.
  • International business experience is a plus.
  • Experience working in large, global, matrixed organizations.
  • Result-oriented, proactive, and independent work ethic.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, journalism, or communications.

  • Agile and adaptable to changing market conditions.
