The Field Marketing Manager – IT is accountable for supporting sales revenue growth across Italy through a well-balanced marketing plan, focusing on acquiring new logos and increasing market share. The main focus will be lead generation, with secondary responsibilities including supporting local marketing activations and providing real-time event management support (trade shows, lunch & learns, webinars, etc.).

He/She will act as a marketing advisor and support for Southern Europe GMs and DVP, ensuring that the marketing plan aligns with the country business objectives and ESI's key business drivers.

The role reports to the Growth & Field Marketing Director for Central and Southern Europe.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Develop a deep understanding of the market landscape, including competitors, ADP's unique strengths, market problems, TAM (total addressable market) by segment and persona, value propositions, and prospect/customer pain points.
  2. Identify key competitor strategies and ensure ADP maintains a compelling and differentiated market position.
  3. Create marketing plans aligned with ESI central strategy and local needs.
  4. Drive integrated marketing campaigns leveraging ESI and global tools, or create tailored campaigns for target markets.
  5. Partner with sales, enablement, and management to foster shared ownership, coordinate activities, and measure success.
  6. Communicate marketing activities to the sales team, including global, regional, and local programs.
  7. Participate actively in marketing communications.
  8. Collaborate with regional product marketing to develop tools, programs, training, and content highlighting local products.
  9. Work with PR teams and vendors to support media coverage and brand building.
  10. Manage the marketing budget for growth initiatives.
  11. Forecast, measure, analyze, and report on program impact and ROI.
  12. Manage local vendors for physical and virtual events that support demand creation.
  13. Develop and implement account-based marketing strategies with sales.
  14. Localize global marketing assets, develop case studies, sales collateral, and tools.
  15. Review and improve the Italian localization of marketing assets.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
  1. Extensive knowledge of payroll and HCM markets is advantageous.
  2. Strong understanding of sales and marketing practices.
  3. Strategic thinking and execution skills, with credibility across organizational levels.
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
  5. Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and deliver results.
  6. International business experience is a plus.
  7. Experience working within large, global, matrixed organizations.
  8. Results-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated.
  9. Attention to detail and accuracy.
  10. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  11. Positive attitude and drive to make an impact.
  12. Technologies: Salesforce.com, Eloqua, Excel, PowerPoint, analytics software, ON24, and other virtual event platforms.

  2. 5-8 years of B2B marketing experience with a record of securing new business, ideally in HR or payroll software.
  3. Collaborative, pragmatic approach with experience managing teams and budgets.
  4. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, journalism, or communications.
  5. Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills; adaptable to changing market conditions.
