Descrizione del lavoro

The Field Marketing Manager – IT is responsible for supporting sales revenue growth across Italy through a well-balanced marketing plan focused on acquiring new logos and increasing market share. The main focus is lead generation, with additional support for local marketing activations and real-time event management (trade shows, webinars, lunch & learns, etc.).

He/She acts as a marketing advisor and support for Southern Europe GMs and DVPs, ensuring the marketing plan aligns with business objectives and key drivers.

The role reports to the Growth & Field Marketing Director for Central and Southern Europe.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Understand the market landscape, including competitors, market problems, TAM, value propositions, and customer pain points.
  2. Identify competitor strategies and ensure ADP maintains a compelling, differentiated market position.
  3. Create marketing plans aligned with ESI central strategy and local needs.
  4. Drive integrated marketing campaigns leveraging global tools and resources or creating new initiatives targeted at the market.
  5. Partner with sales and management to foster shared ownership, coordinate activities, and establish success metrics.
  6. Communicate marketing activities to the sales team and support internal education.
  7. Participate actively in marketing communication efforts.
  8. Collaborate with regional product marketing to develop tools, programs, and content highlighting local products.
  9. Work with PR teams to support media coverage and brand building.
  10. Manage the marketing budget for growth initiatives.
  11. Forecast, measure, analyze, and report on program impact and ROI.
  12. Manage vendors for events and demand creation programs.
  13. Develop account strategies in collaboration with sales for account-based selling.
  14. Localize global marketing assets, develop case studies, sales collateral, and tools.
  15. Review Italian translations of marketing assets to enhance localization.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
  1. Knowledge of payroll and HCM markets is advantageous.
  2. Deep understanding of sales and marketing practices.
  3. Strong strategic thinking, execution skills, and credibility with diverse stakeholders.
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
  5. Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, producing measurable results.
  6. International business experience is a plus.
  7. Experience working in large, global, matrixed organizations.
  8. Result-oriented, proactive, and independent worker.
  9. Attention to detail and accuracy.
  10. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  11. Motivated, positive attitude, and impact-driven.
  12. Technologies: Salesforce, Eloqua, Excel, PowerPoint, analytics tools, ON24, and other virtual event platforms.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  2. 5-8 years of B2B marketing experience, with a record of securing new business.
  3. Experience in HR/payroll software is desirable but not essential.
  4. Collaborative, pragmatic, with experience managing teams and budgets.
  5. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, or communications.
  6. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  7. Agile and adaptable to changing market conditions.
