Develops clinical education materials in connection with clinical investigations. Provides expertise and clinical insights on the device, procedure, and protocol throughout the life cycle of the clinical investigation. The area of competence will be the center of Italy, with a preferred location in Florence.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for certification of the centers, physicians, and other related staff, as well as EW personnel, in accordance with EW SOPs.
- Interact with KOLs and proctors.
- Provide education on all aspects of the device, including handling, implantation, and troubleshooting techniques related to equipment, tools, and products required for device implants.
- Continuously improve training curriculum, materials, and tools based on clinical trial experience, EW guidelines, and SOPs.
- Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and staff on technical matters related to investigational products and procedures through one-on-one training sessions and structured in-service programs.
- Provide follow-up support to physicians and medical staff throughout commercial procedures to ensure education continuity and technical support.
- Plan and implement growth strategies within focused accounts in partnership with Sales and Sales Management.
- Maintain product in-service to ensure customers are prepared to use Edwards products.
- Validate software and hardware updates in the field as applicable.
- Review clinical support activities, market changes, and competitive activity regularly with NSM and Sales Specialists.
- Perform other incidental duties as required.
Education and Experience
Minimum 1 year of related medical device and/or clinical experience required.
Bachelor's Degree in a related field; training experience in a clinical/technical environment is preferred.
