Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences in Italy is looking for a field-based role focusing on education of physicians and hospital staff, and on the technical aspects of echocardiography and interventional procedures. You will evaluate imaging for patient selection and procedural outcomes and collaborate with internal and external physician partners across a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on skills with proven ability to apply technical knowledge to complex anatomical implant procedures.
• Technical proficiency in echocardiography and interventional cardiology is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating echocardiographic equipment (TEE, TTE, ICE) and analyzing images.
• Strong aptitude for cardiac anatomy and physiology.
• Experience in cardiac Cath lab and/or operating room.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external physician partners.
• Proactive and creative in solving problems.
• High-energy individual with teamwork and communication skills.
• Up to 80% travel.
• Fluent English is a must.

Responsibilities

• Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and hospital staff on technical matters related to products and procedures including imaging through training sessions and in-service programs on one technology.
• Evaluate pre- and post-procedural valvular regurgitation and pressure gradients to evaluate procedural outcome.
• Educate internal and external stakeholders on mitral- and tricuspid disease evaluation for TMTT procedures.
• Evaluate echocardiographic imaging (2D, 3D, Doppler, M-Mode) for patient selection and procedure support.
• Other incidental duties.
