Edwards Lifesciences in Italy is looking for a field-based role focusing on education of physicians and hospital staff, and on the technical aspects of echocardiography and interventional procedures. You will evaluate imaging for patient selection and procedural outcomes and collaborate with internal and external physician partners across a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on skills with proven ability to apply technical knowledge to complex anatomical implant procedures.
• Technical proficiency in echocardiography and interventional cardiology is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating echocardiographic equipment (TEE, TTE, ICE) and analyzing images.
• Strong aptitude for cardiac anatomy and physiology.
• Experience in cardiac Cath lab and/or operating room.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external physician partners.
• Proactive and creative in solving problems.
• High-energy individual with teamwork and communication skills.
• Up to 80% travel.
• Fluent English is a must.

Aufgaben

• Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and hospital staff on technical matters related to products and procedures including imaging through training sessions and in-service programs on one technology.
• Evaluate pre- and post-procedural valvular regurgitation and pressure gradients to evaluate procedural outcome.
• Educate internal and external stakeholders on mitral- and tricuspid disease evaluation for TMTT procedures.
• Evaluate echocardiographic imaging (2D, 3D, Doppler, M-Mode) for patient selection and procedure support.
• Other incidental duties.

How you will make an impact:

• Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and hospital staff on all aspects of technical matters related to products and procedures including imaging through conducting and/or coordinating one-on‑one ad hoc training sessions and in‑service structured education programs on one technology.
• Evaluation of pre- and post-procedural valvular regurgitation and pressure gradients to evaluate procedural outcome.
• Education of internal and external stakeholders on mitral- and tricuspid disease evaluation and screening for TMTT procedures.
• Evaluation of echocardiographic imaging (2D, 3D, Doppler, M-Mode, etc.) for the purposes of patient selection and procedure support.
• Other incidental duties.

EDUCATION SUPPORT

• Educate and train physicians and hospital personnel on technical aspects of the TMTT products and procedures and/or coordinating one‑on‑one ad hoc training sessions and in‑service structured education programs.

What you will need:

• An effective candidate must have hands‑on skills with proven ability to apply technical knowledge and judgment to complex anatomical implant procedures.
• Technical proficiency specific to echocardiography and interventional cardiology is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in operating echocardiographic equipment (TEE, TTE, ICE) and analyzing echocardiographic images is strongly preferred.
• Strong aptitude for cardiac anatomy and physiology.
• Experience working in cardiac Cath lab and/or operation room
• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary - this position will require close collaboration with internal as well as external physician partners.
• Computer proficiency, especially MS Word, MS Excel, & MS PowerPoint is preferred
• Must be proactive and creative in identifying and solving problems.
• Requires a high‑energy individual who has excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Enjoys working in a changing, fast paced environment
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and problem‑solving.
• Up to 80% travel
• Language skills: Fluent English is a must have

For Italy, the base pay range for this position is 38 000 € to 54 000 € (highly experienced), in line with the applicable National Collective Agreement (CCNL Industria Chimico Farmaceutico)

The pay for the successful candidate will depend on some objective criteria (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience). Applications will be accepted while this position is posted on our Careers website.

For the purpose of determining the remuneration and job classification applicable to the position, the employment relationship shall be governed by the provisions of the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL).
