A leading international engineering firm is seeking a Civil Engineer to oversee construction activities and ensure compliance with technical documentation. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in civil engineering, knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office, and the ability to work in a multicultural environment. This role is based in Armenia with 90/15 shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensures interfaces with the construction team (HSE, site materials management, quality control, construction supervision, support to the Project Manager and Construction Manager) assisting with discipline-related issues;
• Verifies the compliance and consistency of the technical documentation received, making it available to the Discipline Supervisor;
• Ensures the analysis of engineering, material and construction non-conformities found on site, ensuring the involvement of the relevant Head Office department in determining corrective actions;
• Analyses the technical aspects of the feasibility of the work;
• Coordinates civil engineering activities for the site;
• Collaborates with the client's technical representative for relevant engineering issues;
• Performs all possible technical checks in the field;
• Approves, checks and updates the bill of materials;
• Coordinates subcontractors for civil activities;
• Develops (MOS), site procedures, (MAR);
• Record changes and additions made to documents as a result of construction and commissioning requirements until the preparation of ‘as built’ drawings.

Required competences

• At least 5 years' experience in civil engineering sites
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Good knowledge of English;
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word)

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering.
