Job summary

Brooks Automation is seeking a Customer Support Engineer (m/f/d) for the Grenoble area. You will be the frontline in maintaining product performance at customer sites, performing on-site servicing, installations, and qualification of Brooks systems.

Travel across Europe and the United States is expected to around 60% of the time. Ideal candidates hold a technical degree or diploma, with electromechanical skills and proven troubleshooting expertise.

Qualifications

Ideally degree qualified or diploma in a technical discipline.
Experience with automated technology and facility equipment is preferred.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

Perform on-site servicing, installation and qualification of Brooks products, primarily in cleanroom environments.
Conduct tests to verify product performance and diagnose issues at installation.
Implement hardware/software upgrades and change orders.
Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues at customer sites and liaise with factory.
Provide technical support to customers on system operation and maintenance.
