The role of Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is to provide excellent customer service to clients while installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand-alone laboratory environments.

This position is located in and will be fully remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the team and report to the manager responsible for the role and responsibilities.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Install and setup Laboratory Automation systems based on customer needs and contract specifications, working with LIS and Middleware teams.
• Deploy onsite user training to teach customers on the product portfolio under your responsibility. Run training on the job during the startup phase of the project.
• Troubleshoot customer issues remotely and seek solutions following internal standards. Activate second level support if needed.
• Support our field team (FSE, FAS) to maintain, install, and validate laboratory systems in the field. Advise the team on relevant and critical technical issues to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and warranty conversion.
• Use critical thinking to resolve issues and rapidly repair instrumentation.
• Ensure the growth of the Field Service Engineers’ technical knowledge by managing the flow of technical information between Europe and the Business Unit to the local team.
• Collaborate with Sales, Application, and Tender Departments to improve customer solutions and routines.
• Develop project management skills in the context of installation projects.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• A degree (preferably in technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering or related) or at least 2-3 years of demonstrated experience.
• Willingness to work different shifts and flexible hours as needed, with the ability to travel at least 80% across the country and periodically to other European countries, including overnight stays.
• Fluency in Italian and English, both verbal and written, to attend and provide training and participate in discussions and international meetings.
• Strong leadership skills and interpersonal relationships.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Problem solving and proactive solution identification.
• Good IT knowledge, including setting up and managing networks, servers, firewalls, and interfaces.
• Developing a critical mindset supported by DBS tools.
