We resell, customize, and distribute electronic components worldwide, maintaining a trusted network of industry leaders on both supplier and customer sides.

Field Application Engineer (Automotive)

We seek a Field Application Engineer to join our Engineering team, assisting our R&D customers in Italy to realize their innovative ideas. The ideal candidate will preferably reside in North Italy and work from our Milan or Turin office.

What You Will Be Doing at Arrow:

1. Collaborate closely with technical specialists to provide expertise to our customers.
2. Lead technical aspects of large, complex customer engagements.
3. Serve as the primary contact between Arrow's sales team and key decision-makers on the customer and supplier sides.
4. Prepare and conduct training sessions, events, and technical meetings with clients and suppliers.
5. Guide technical direction and priorities based on supplier strategies and market conditions.

What Are We Looking For?

1. Approximately 5 years of experience as a Field Application Engineer, Design Engineer, Electronic Engineer, Technical Sales Engineer, or similar, preferably in the Automotive industry.
2. University degree in electronic engineering or a related technical field.
3. Experience with R&D products and services.
4. Excellent communication skills and customer-facing orientation.
5. Experience in delivering technical presentations, training, and conducting technical events is advantageous.
6. Business fluency in English and Italian.
7. Valid driving license and willingness to travel within Italy for customer visits.
