Job summary
Agricultural Recruitment Specialists is seeking a Technical Agronomy Advisor for Southern Italy to provide field-based agronomic guidance to farmers and distributors. You will support the integration of biostimulants, lead demonstrations, and work with partners to drive market development across olives and grapes.
Ideal candidates hold an agronomy degree and 0–4 years' experience, with strong knowledge of plant nutrition and crop production.
Qualifications
- Degree in Agronomy, Plant Science, Plant Pathology or related discipline.
- 0–4 years' experience within agronomy, agriculture or technical sales.
- Strong knowledge of plant nutrition, crop production and biostimulants.
- Experience with olives and grapes is essential.
- Fluent English plus Italian language skills.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with farmers and distributors across Southern Italy.
- Provide practical agronomic advice, focusing on olives and grapes.
- Support growers in integrating biostimulants into crop programmes.
- Organise farmer demonstration days and field trials.
- Collaborate with distributors on visits, training and market development.
- Attend agricultural events and develop a local network.
- Monitor trial results, gather farmer feedback and report market activity.
- Maintain CRM records and report on activity.
