Field - After-sales engineer

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a Field - After-sales Engineer to provide technical support for field and remote service activities, working with clients and stakeholders to resolve issues related to Battery Storage Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and perform all on-site technical tasks, including commissioning, preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance.
2. Resolve post-sale issues efficiently, minimize system downtime, and ensure quick recovery through effective customer communication and information sharing.
3. Monitor and evaluate product performance by analyzing operational data from BESS systems in collaboration with the monitoring team, HQ, and the EU technical team.
4. Collaborate with the HQ team to identify and propose technical solutions for system faults.
5. Participate in field activities such as system commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
6. Support the help desk team with technical support calls and manage the ticketing system.
7. Work with the HSE Manager to assess risks and approve operational procedures aligned with HSE standards and regulations.
8. Manage the spare parts list, addressing obsolescence, ensuring compatibility, and coordinating with LATAM and HQ teams on stock, consumption, and supply chain planning.
9. Ensure local teams and service partners are equipped with necessary tools and spare parts for continuous operations.
10. Coordinate with the Technical and Training teams to uphold high service quality during field operations.
11. Work closely with local service teams, including managers, technicians, and partners, to ensure effective technical support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. Electrical Certification, Degree, or equivalent, compliant with national regulations.
2. Practical experience with electrical tools such as multimeters and torque wrenches.
3. Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams; relevant education or experience preferred.
4. Minimum of 2 years on-site experience with BESS systems, electrical installations, wiring, and commissioning.
5. Proficiency in English (spoken, written, listening, reading), including technical manual writing.
6. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
