Quest Global in Turin area, Italy is seeking a FEM Structural Analysis Engineer for the aviation domain. You will conduct lifing analyses on aero-engine components, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and apply advanced tools to assess stress and fatigue.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in aerospace/mechanical engineering with 1–3 years in aero-engines or turbomachinery, plus proficiency in Ansys APDL/Workbench; HyperMesh is a plus. Italian citizens preferred.

Job Location: Turin Area, Italy

Responsibilities

• Conduct lifing analysis for aero-engine components to determine operational lifespan and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and information for lifing analysis.
• Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to perform stress and fatigue analysis on components.
• Develop and maintain lifing models and databases to support ongoing analysis and decision-making processes.
• Identify potential risks and issues related to component lifing and propose mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, aeronautical, mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in stress analysis, preferably 1 to 3 years, in aero-engines or turbomachinery applications.
• Proficiency in using industry-specific software and tools like Ansys APDL and Ansys Workbench.
• Proficiency in English.
• Knowledge of Hypermesh will be considered a preferred qualification.
