TurinTech SpA is seeking a FEM Analyst for their Aerospace division in Pisa, Italy. The ideal candidate will develop mechanical FEM models and execute numerical analysis to support spacecraft projects. Candidates with a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in the Aerospace sector are preferred.

The position offers a permanent contract, restaurant tickets, and various company benefits from day one. Strong knowledge of FEMAP/NASTRAN and good command of both Italian and English is required.

FEM Analyst – Aerospace

Main Activity/Responsability

• Development of mechanical FEM models for spacecraft, electric propulsion subsystems and electronic equipment
• Execution of structural and thermo-mechanical numerical analysis according to project requirements
• Support to thermo-mechanical designers, system engineers and spacecraft architects during all project phases
• Analysis and verification activities from preliminary design up to satellite integration
• Support during mechanical test preparation and execution phases in collaboration with the AIT department
• Numerical correlation of FEM models based on test results
• Interaction with suppliers for technological solutions, materials and manufacturing techniques
• Preparation of technical documentation and analysis reports
• Preparation of reduced mechanical models for spacecraft integration activities

TECH SKILLS

• Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in the Aerospace sector
• Good knowledge of FEMAP / NASTRAN simulation environment
• Basic knowledge of CATIA V5
• Knowledge of PLM Windchill is considered a plus
• Experience in structural and thermo-mechanical FEM analysis
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Good command of Italian and English languages (B2 or higher)
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving attitude
