Quest Global is seeking a FEM structural analysis engineer for the aviation domain in the Turin area. The role focuses on lifing analysis of aero-engine components and requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has a background in aerospace/mechanical engineering and hands-on experience with Ansys APDL/Workbench and Hypermesh. Proficiency in English is required, with Italian rooting for on-site work in Turin.

FEM STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS ENGINEER - AVIATION DOMAIN

Job Location: Turin Area, Italy

Responsibilities

• Conduct lifing analysis for aero-engine components to determine operational lifespan and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and information for lifing analysis.
• Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to perform stress and fatigue analysis on components.
• Develop and maintain lifing models and databases to support ongoing analysis and decision-making processes.
• Identify potential risks and issues related to component lifing and propose mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, aeronautical, mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in stress analysis, preferably 1 to 3 years, in aero-engines or turbomachinery applications.
• Proficiency in using industry-specific software and tools like Ansys APDL and Ansys Workbench.
• Proficiency in English.
• Knowledge of Hypermesh will be considered a preferred qualification.
