A leading food and beverage company in Portogruaro is seeking a Factory Project Engineer to support and lead engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering and 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in Food/Pharma/FMCG. Fluency in Italian and English is essential. This role offers a permanent, full-time position with opportunities to contribute to sustainability initiatives.

Competenze

• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering.
• Experience in Food/Pharma/FMCG industries as Project or Maintenance Engineer.
• PMI certification is a plus.

Mansioni

• Support and lead engineering projects within the factory.

• At least 3 – 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment, preferably in Food/Pharma/FMCG industries as Project or Maintenance Engineer

Position Summary:

In this role you will support and lead engineering projects within the factory, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with safety and quality standards. You will also collaborate cross-functionally to implement technical solutions that improve manufacturing processes and support strategic initiatives.

A Day in the life of a Factory Project Engineer

• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets. Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure successful delivery.
• Collaborate with design, production, and maintenance teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with factory capabilities.
• Collaborate also with central functions based in France.
• Liaise with external international suppliers and contractors for equipment, services, and installations. Manage contracts, timelines, and quality of deliverables.
• Ensure all projects comply with local regulations, environmental standards, and internal safety policies. Participate in risk assessments and safety audits.
• Support technical training and help operators and maintenance teams during project handover and implementation in collaboration with OSL (Operational Start-up Leader)
• Contribute to projects that support sustainability goals, such as energy efficiency, waste reduction, and circular economy practices in line with Nestlé MM0 targets (i.e. carbon neutral manufacturing operations by 2050)
