Job Description:

On behalf of a luxury company, we are seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Lead for Southern Europe.

The Facilities & Maintenance Lead will oversee retail stores and headquarters facilities management across the Southern Europe cluster. Responsibilities include managing daily maintenance and repair orders, overseeing store upkeep, developing equipment maintenance strategies, and resolving issues in all stores within the region.

Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee and coordinate planned facility and maintenance activities.
  2. Manage remedial work for store emergencies, ensuring vendor action plans are effective.
  3. Conduct site visits and collaborate with Retail Excellence Managers on quarterly store condition audits.
  4. Serve as the primary contact for store and headquarters staff regarding facility and maintenance issues.
  5. Perform periodic site inspections to ensure high standards and proper execution of maintenance tasks.
  6. Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to supervise ongoing work.
  7. Ensure health and safety standards are met, coordinating with RSPP/HSE teams.
  8. Manage procurement and ordering of materials and services.
  9. Archive documentation compliant with local regulations.
  10. Organize tender processes to evaluate and select contractors, supporting finance and retail operations.
  11. Collaborate on new store openings, including site surveys, contractor selection, and project management.
  12. Assist in budget estimation and cost control, managing purchase orders and payments.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Engineering, Construction, Facility Management, or Building Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of facilities management experience, preferably in retail with real estate services focus.
  • Experience in luxury retail.
  • Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.
