Job Title : Room Service Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Room Service Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to deliver exceptional customer service and manage a team of professionals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the room service department, ensuring that all guests receive prompt and courteous service. This includes managing a team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff, as well as coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless execution of events.

As a Room Service Manager, you will have the opportunity to work in one of Venice's most iconic hotels and contribute to its legacy. You will be part of a dynamic team that values mutual respect and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the room service department, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of events, such as weddings, conferences, and corporate meetings.
  • Supervise and train a team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and organization in the room service area.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to design effective menu options and ensure excellent product quality at a fair price.

Requirements :

  • College degree in Hotel Management or equivalent experience.
  • Two to three years of previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager position in Food & Beverage.
  • Working knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
