Job Description:

Exide Technologies is a leading provider of advanced energy storage solutions for commercial and industrial markets. It designs, manufactures, and markets current and next-generation battery technologies used in a wide range of applications, serving global markets with world-class battery technologies, technical expertise, and value-added services under many well-known brands.

For its Balkan countries market, Exide is looking for an Export Key Account Manager to be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with key clients that generate the most income, and for developing sales and related activities to define and grow strategic customer accounts. The role involves exploiting company resources to develop and implement strategic solutions to achieve long-term client goals and attract new clients.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring sales results in terms of revenues, profit (contribution, customer EBIT/P&L), and cash flow (DSO and over-dues) within the designated sales area (accounts, brands, or regions);
  2. Developing profitable sales to key clients across primary, secondary brands, and private labels;
  3. Contributing to medium and long-term objectives through organizational and channel strategy adjustments;
  4. Analyzing market trends, distribution channels, and competitors;
  5. Supporting pricing strategies and customer satisfaction goals within defined discretion limits (e.g., 2-year plans, marketing programs, logistics);
  6. Communicating effectively with sales teams, customer service, and management, and reporting on account performance regularly.

Requirements:

  • Academic degree in Electrical, Electronic, Energetic Engineering, or Economics;
  • Alternative educational backgrounds considered if complemented by relevant experience;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in similar commercial roles within battery companies;
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite;
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written;
  • Strong communication, negotiation skills, customer orientation, and results-driven approach.
