The Role
As an Area Export Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing the German market, coordinating sales activities, and ensuring the achievement of turnover and margin targets.
Your Responsibilities
- Ensure communication between Sales Management and the commercial network (agents, distributors, industrial clients).
- Participate in defining commercial strategies to increase market share.
- Coordinate technical-commercial activities to develop business volume and seek new opportunities.
- Monitor and consolidate the client base in foreign markets.
- Lead and motivate the sales team within your area of competence.
- Develop action plans to achieve sales objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, negotiating strategic contracts.
- Identify and acquire new clients and distributors.
- Analyze sales performance and produce periodic reports.
- Coordinate the distribution network and support order management.
- Collaborate with different company functions (administration, production, quality) to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Participate in sector trade fairs and meet clients.
Candidate Profile
You might be the right person if you:
- Have a degree in Economics, Commerce, or Engineering.
- Have experience in sales/export roles in manufacturing companies.
- Know marketing strategies and export commercialization techniques.
- Speak fluent English and have a good knowledge of German.
- Possess excellent negotiation, analysis, and communication skills.
- Are results-oriented and have leadership capabilities.
- Are willing to travel frequently.
