The Role: Exploitation Manager

We are looking for a strategic, analytical, and outward-facingExploitation Managerto join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the heart of innovation transfer, working closely with public and private institutions, startups, researchers, and investors to shape the future of technology in Europe and beyond.

Your Mission

• Transition to Market & Society:Facilitate the go-to-market and go-to-society strategy of innovative technologies, supporting their sustainable exploitation.
• Business Modelling:Design, adapt, and validate robust business models tailored to different technologies, sectors, and stakeholder ecosystems.
• Market Research & Patent Landscaping:Conduct detailed competitive analyses and IP landscapes to inform strategic positioning and value proposition.
• Stakeholder Engagement:Interface with founders, researchers, institutional stakeholders, and corporate partners to co-design exploitation strategies.
• Innovation Ecosystem Building:Contribute to the creation of innovation pathways involving public-private partnerships, funding mechanisms, and policy alignment.
• Project Support:Provide exploitation work package coordination or support in EU and national research and innovation projects.

Preferred Background:

• Academic or professional experience in business, economics, innovation management, technology transfer, or related disciplines.
• Scientific background or experience with scientific subject is a plus.
• Familiarity with EU research frameworks (e.g. Horizon Europe) is a strong asset.
• Experience working with or within startups, accelerators, or research institutions is highly valued.
