A global consulting firm is seeking a Key Expert in Sanitary and phytosanitary services to support agricultural development in Cambodia. The ideal candidate has a university degree, extensive experience with SPS standards, and relevant international project experience. This role is critical for implementing the ASPIRE-AT programme and involves significant expertise in agricultural analysis.

Competenze

• At least 10 years of related professional experience, including 5 years international.
• Experience with SPS infrastructure and/or laboratories.
• Experience in planning and procurement of laboratory at national/central level.

Conoscenze

Knowledge of sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) standards

Excellent drafting and communications skills

Project management related to SPS

Formazione

Overview

NTU is preparing a proposal for: “Technical assistance for ASPIRE-AT programme in Cambodia” and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.

The overall objective of this assignment is to contribute to the development of the agricultural sector in Cambodia and to support the EIB-financed activities under ASPIRE-AT.

Duration: The intended start date is December 2025 and all components and tasks are expected to be completed within 48 months from the start date.

Key Expert: Expert in Sanitary and phytosanitary services and laboratories for agricultural analysis

Qualifications and skills:

• University degree in agriculture, chemistry, biology or similar technical discipline.
• Demonstrated knowledge of sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) standards and laboratories through additional formal training, including in ISO 17025 or equivalent.
• Excellent drafting and communications skills.
• At least 10 years of related professional experience, of which at least 5 years should be international experience with SPS infrastructure and/or laboratories.
• Should have carried out at least one project related to the implementation of sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) standards.
• Should have carried out at least one project related to planning and/or procurement of a laboratory at the national/central level.
