Experienced - Forensic Core - Financial Advisory, Milan

This role involves joining Deloitte's Forensic Core team in Milan, working in a hybrid mode. The Forensic business focuses on:

• Providing technical assistance mainly in economic, accounting, financial, and procedural contexts related to frauds, suspicious transactions, and corporate crimes using digital forensic tools.
• Supporting the identification and assessment of potential fraud risks in sensitive business areas/processes, analyzing control procedures, and recommending improvements to the Internal Control System.

Your Role

The experienced resource will be part of a team and will:

• Proactively interpret client needs and identify suitable methodologies and approaches.
• Conduct documentary and financial investigations to identify anomalous transactions or fraudulent activities such as misappropriation, corruption, and misuse of company assets by employees, suppliers, or clients.
• Work on corporate reconstructions and reputation analyses in internal investigations, corporate intelligence, and financial crime investigations.
• Support data eDiscovery activities on company devices or servers, performing targeted searches based on keywords and reviewing results.
• Prepare technical reports, expert opinions, and technical consultations for courts and parties.
• Conduct preventive activities like Risk Assessment and Gap Analysis in Financial Crime areas.
• Develop operational models for detecting and preventing Financial Crime.

Winning Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of experience in professional firms or consulting companies in forensic services or auditing in industrial/financial sectors.
• A master's degree in economic subjects.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
• Ability to write technical reports.
• Strong team and autonomous working skills.
• Excellent command of English.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel, including abroad.
