- The Executive Supply Chain RSP (Revenue Sharing Partner) Materials Leader is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of materials from all RSPs globally according to production schedules across all engine platforms, supporting both assembly and MRO operations.
In addition, you will :
- Lead a Global team responsible partnering with RSPs to ensure both short term material delivery performance and long-term readiness, capacity, and raw material health
- Understand both internal and external business environment and its impact to our global supply chain in order to create programs responsive to these conditions
- Develop strategy to ensure delivery performance, implement change within your team
- Participates in cross-functional business and cultural development
- Provide leadership and direction in creating and implementing a common material delivery focus and drive the systemic changes to our material flow processes that will lead to achieving OTD metrics, reduced cycles, inventory and cost
- Provide cross-functional leadership in driving an integrated system for spares and assembly requirements, kitting and delivery
- Perform the strategy, planning and measurement of materials flow
- Drive process rigor and standard work across RSP and GE Aerospace teams
- Lead the development and usage of digital tools and processes to improve delivery, inventory accuracy / turns, and cost
- Manage material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs to achieve OTD commitments
- Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs
- Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in materials management, manufacturing or production planning / control, or customer program management.
- Prior people leadership of global team
- Desired Characteristics
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college is preferred
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering from an accredited university or college is preferred
- Knowledge of and experience in the Aerospace Industry is highly desired
- Knowledge of and experience in manufacturing processes, production planning, and production control with a history of being responsible for manufacturing performance
- Experience leading within a matrix organization, strong collaboration and ability to lead with influence across a global team
- Global awareness, cultural sensitivity, learning mindset
- Proficiency in French language preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of product support
- Experience with Lean and continuous improvement
