A wedding planning company in Como is seeking a talented designer to join their team. The successful candidate will manage design projects from conception to execution, including client presentations, budget management, and hands-on production during events. Candidates should have experience in events or architecture, be fluent in English, and possess knowledge of design tools and processes. This full-time role does not offer remote work and requires availability during weekends.
Main responsibilities:
- design and inspiration research for new projects (finding new suppliers and artisans)
- create concept mood boards
- floor plan designs – technical skills required
- detailed project presentations
- face to face client meetings and presentations
- manage design project timelines and budgets
- liaising with suppliers for quotes (for bespoke items / rentals / etc)
- hands on production for set up and dismantling on events
- other design tasks as requested
Experience and skills requested:
-preferable work experience in events or architecture
- experience in design related processes
- strong team player
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment with good problem-solving skills
- working knowledge of MS Office (Microsoft Excel)
- working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
- working knowledge of Adobe InDesign
- working knowledge of scale drawing and floor plans
- fluent in English (written and spoken)
- ability to work on site at events for design production, set up and dismantles
- ability to work evenings and weekends during events
Work Contract:
Full Time, Fixed-term contract, No remote working
We’re offering an initial fixed term contract with the intention of it becoming a permanent contract.
Availability:
Mondays to Fridays 09.30-18.00 (with availability to work during weekends on events)
