Applied Materials is seeking an Installation Engineer to support European regions from Italy to Germany, Ireland and France. You will install, maintain, and upgrade semiconductor production equipment, traveling across Europe and coordinating with customers and internal teams to ensure on-time handover.

Full training will be provided; the role requires technical background, autonomous work style, and strong English communication.

Competenze

• University Degree or ITS Meccatronico Post - Diploma, degree with technical background (mechanical assembly, equipment installation, maintenance, mechatronics, electronics, electrical, mechanical, or similar...).

Mansioni

• Perform independently installation tasks (mechanical assembly, electrical connections, robot calibrations), from the integration to the inspection of the tools including troubleshooting in case of issues.
• Follow all checklists and procedures and ensure correct procedures and schematics are available prior to performing work.
• Test equipment with assistance from senior engineers, existing documentation and diagnostic techniques.
• Respond to factory issues by communicating with other engineers and participating in escalation conference calls.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce installation cycle time and costs.
• Provide accurate reporting of status, hours worked and non-conformances.
• Adhere to the security policy and quality standards of Applied Materials and its customers.
