Qualifications

• PhD, MD, or advanced degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• Significant experience leading research and collaboration programs in healthcare or med-tech.
• Proven success developing strategic partnerships with academia, hospitals, and government.
• Proven track record in securing research grants and managing funding.
• Experience influencing executives and leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong governance, regulatory, contracting, and IP understanding.
• Demonstrated leadership in building high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute regional research and collaboration strategy aligned with priorities.
• Lead strategic partnerships with academia, healthcare systems, and government agencies.
• Develop long-term collaboration frameworks creating scientific, clinical, and commercial value.
• Represent GE HealthCare at conferences and forums.
• Advise senior leadership on opportunities, trends, and investments.
• Lead and develop a team of Regional Research Managers across geographies.
• Set objectives, development plans, and priorities for the team.
• Oversee funding pipelines, governance reviews, and reporting.
