Mastercard Services seeks an EU Services Business Development Lead for the Governmental Vertical to shape the pan-European growth strategy and build executive partnerships across public sector accounts.

You will collaborate with country, division, product and Services teams to design scalable solutions addressing government priorities, drive revenue, and ensure successful delivery while creating long-term value for citizens and governments across Europe.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA, or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• Substantial experience in business development, consulting, strategy, financial services, technology, payments, or public sector organizations.
• Good understanding of government institutions, procurement environments, and digital transformation agendas across Europe.
• Proven track record of developing growth strategies and generating revenue through complex, multi-stakeholder engagements.
• Experience building executive-level relationships and influencing senior decision-makers across large organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs and market opportunities into commercially actionable propositions that support pipeline creation, sales acceleration, and revenue growth.
• Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and execution discipline.
• Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage audiences from practitioners to C-level executives.
• Comfortable operating in a highly matrixed, multinational environment.
• Proven ability to influence and align diverse internal stakeholders across complex, matrixed organizations and multiple European markets.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify emerging market opportunities and translate them into growth initiatives.
