Leveraging the international KPMG’s experience in international markets (European Union, World Bank, United Nations, …), KPMG Italy provides services to several international public institutions and closely monitors all major developments on a wide range of areas ranging from structural reforms in EU Member States and strategic studies in several “public related” domains to digital transformation and operational excellence.

Specifically, your responsibilities will include :

• Participate to EU projects with a specific focus on EU studies according to Better Regulations but also on other EU projects in more general terms. You will :

Support the project manager in coordinating activities for project implementation

• Cooperate with other team members to disseminate knowledge about EU policy and Better regulation methodologies
• Carry out and coordinate quantitative / qualitative data analysis, including market analysis, CBA, cost assessments, indicators framework set-up
• Support Business Development activities especially on EU policy studies and Better Regulation studies but also on a varied of other EU opportunities :

Tendering drafting and coordination of more junior resources for quality results

• Analyse policy context and participate to EU tenders procedures
• Participate to consortia building for EU tenders

Come As You Are - Your Skills and Characteristics

This successful candidate has :

• a master’s degree in EU policies, Public Policy, International relations, Philosophy Politics Economics, or economy and statistics, economic modelling, Impact assessment degrees.
• at least 2years of experience in EU policy studies according to Better Regulation methodologies and / or 2 years of experience working in general for EU institutions
• analytical attitude and capacity to carry out oversight the work for qualitative and quantitative data collection activities
• an experience working for international institutions or within an international consulting firm, you are familiar with international institutions.
• a positive and confident approach with good interpersonal skills and you are at ease with a multicultural, multinational and culturally diverse environment.
• an excellent spoken and written knowledge of English and Italian. Knowledge of another EU language is most welcome.
