Alstom is seeking a candidate to manage ETCS/System functional tests and define V&V strategies. The role involves planning tests for lab and on-site environments, configuring test tools, and coordinating software testing with our lab and field teams.

You will perform field activities weekly across Italy, contribute to test reports for acceptance, and support system commissioning and customer acceptance efforts. English proficiency is required and software development skills are a plus.

Competenze

University Engineering degree in Informatics, Electronics, Automation, IT, or Telecom.
Strong teamwork attitude.
Willingness to perform field activities weekly within Italy.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Software development skills are a plus.

Mansioni

Managing ETCS/System functional Test.
Defining V&V strategy.
Defining plan of tests, identifying tests to be executed in laboratory and on-site.
Identifying the right configuring test tools and Test Benchs for the testing activities.
SW testing session/process, in cooperation with the other testing engineers from laboratory testing to on-site testing.
Applying the standard V&V methods & tools, configuration & change management processes in accordance to Alstom standards.
Managing test execution and analysis for the V&V of the SW and data, delivering the test reports required for the acceptance phase.
Supporting Testing & Commissioning in the system acceptance phase.
Supporting Customer acceptance phase (configuration customer laboratory, customer tests support, on-site activities).
Trial Run management in collaboration with Test & Commissioning Team
