SolarEdge Energy Storage Division is seeking a Sales Director to originate and develop sales opportunities within the European region, primarily focusing on central Europe. The role involves leading sales management and business development activities to increase revenue and support future growth.

Primary Responsibilities
Leadership
  • Motivate the regional team, manage complex customer situations, and communicate performance to senior leaders.
  • Support ESD sales, technical, and commercial outcomes with innovative solutions that grow the business and deliver solid results for customers.
  • Prepare and implement regional development plans, supporting your team in executing strategy.
Business & Sales
  • Win new business and manage the sales cycle for both repeat and new customers.
  • Negotiate with insight, challenge with integrity, and drive customers toward decisions.
  • Understand SEDG solutions to educate customers, address project uncertainties, and work with customers to close deals, maintaining SEDG as the preferred Energy Services provider.
  • Manage customer interactions, deliver sales volume, and support escalation processes.
  • Develop growth strategies and business models for ESD.
  • Gain market insights to identify opportunities and support growth.
  • Tailor responses to meet customer needs, clearly communicating the value of SEDG solutions.
Offer Development
  • Enhance expertise in ESD solutions, value propositions, and support capabilities.
  • Address developments, opportunities, and threats through local and global initiatives.
  • Provide feedback to product and marketing teams for customization and marketing materials.
SolarEdge Brand Extension
  • Implement the brand extension strategy.
  • Seek brand advocacy from customers.
  • Represent SolarEdge at industry events and forums as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Commerce.
  • 5+ years of successful experience in C&I or Utility-scale ESS or energy sales.
  • Experience in sales and business development of complex products and services.
  • Client relationship management skills: development, growth, and retention.
  • Ability to negotiate PO terms and contracts.
  • Effective reporting and performance tracking skills.
