Being an ESS Key Account Manager is an exciting role, as you are the superhero our clients need.
You know what setup of our solutions will satisfy their needs; therefore, here are your most important tasks:

  1. Develop and manage ESS clients and projects in Italy
  2. Collect client requirements and communicate with technical and service teams
  3. Analyze our main competitors' solutions, pricing, and market strategies
  4. Attend national and international fairs and congresses
  5. Provide periodic sales forecasts, reports, and market research
  6. Achieve yearly sales targets and ensure local market share
  7. Complete all other tasks related to sales
Your profile

Now, you should be aware of what is expected of you and the background you should have to feel comfortable in this role. Keep in mind it’s all about electrical equipment, so it is essential for you to have:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent; with an affinity for electrical engineering
  • At least two years of experience in (technical) sales, business development, project development, or project management, preferably in the solar or energy storage industry. Experience from an inverter manufacturer is a plus!
  • Good knowledge of photovoltaics, inverters, and BOS in combination with a strong commercial sales background, preferably in solar or renewable energy
  • Languages: Italian and English at least C1, Chinese is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS-Office and CRM software
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on a regular basis
