CATL cerca un Ingegnere di Delivery e Commissioning per impianti di Energy Storage a Roma. Il ruolo prevede l'installazione secondo le specifiche di progetto, testing di sistemi, e garantire prestazioni e sicurezza.

Si richiede laurea in ingegneria Elettrica e 1–3 anni di esperienza in collaudo, con fluente inglese e conoscenza di BMS/PCS/EMS. Disponibilità a viaggiare a livello internazionale e assegnazioni prolungate in sito.

Competenze

• Laurea magistrale o equivalente in ingegneria elettrica, ingegneria delle comunicazioni, ingegneria energetica o campi affini.
• 1-3 anni di esperienza in collaudo di apparecchiature elettriche o progetti energetici.
• Conoscenza di sistemi BESS, PV o reti di potenza e protocolli di comunicazione industriale.

Mansioni

• Partecipare alle attività di commissioning, consegna del progetto e accettazione di sistemi BESS su larga scala.
• Eseguire commissioning, troubleshooting e risoluzione guasti per contenitori/cabine di batterie, inclusi FSS, HVAC/TMS, DC up to 1500V.
• Supportare analisi in campo, azioni correttive e chiusura guasti con il team di progetto.
• Partecipare a SAT, prove di connessione alla rete e attività di accettazione del progetto.
• Supportare training al cliente su funzionamento, manutenzione e uso del prodotto.

About the Role

ESS Delivery and Comissioning Engineers play a pivotal role in transforming energy storage systems from blueprints into operational realities that function safely and reliably. Their responsibilities span the mid-to-late stages of project execution, centering on ensuring that systems are installed in accordance with design specifications and undergo systematic testing to achieve optimal performance and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the commissioning, project delivery, and acceptance of large-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
• Perform commissioning, troubleshooting, and defect resolution for battery containers/cabinets, including:Fire Suppression System (FSS),Liquid Cooling System (HVAC/TMS),DC Circuits (up to 1500V DC),Auxiliary AC Circuits (220V/400V AC),BMS Communication Systems Assist with the commissioning of PCS (Power Conversion System) and EMS (Energy Management System), with a basic understanding of their operating principles.
• Support on-site issue analysis, fault diagnosis, corrective actions, and issue closure together with the project team.
• Participate in Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), grid connection testing, and project acceptance activities.
• Support customer training on system operation, maintenance, and product usage.
• Track commissioning issues through to closure and ensure projects are delivered according to schedule.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, After-Sales Service, Project Management, etc.) to resolve site issues efficiently.
• Comply with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) requirements and ensure safe execution of all commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above. Preferred majors include Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, Energy Engineering, Renewable Energy Technology, or related disciplines.
• 1-3 years of experience in electrical equipment commissioning, energy projects, or related industries.
• Familiarity with one or more of the following areas:Basic knowledge of primary and secondary electrical systems; Energy storage systems, photovoltaic (PV) systems, and power systems; Basic principles of BMS, PCS, and EMS; Industrial communication protocols such as CAN and Modbus RTU/TCP;Communication networks and fieldbus technologies.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and communication topology drawings.
• Knowledge of BESS grid-connection processes, substation equipment, and power plant delivery procedures is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other standard office software.
• Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in English for daily work and on-site communication; Mandarin Chinese proficiency is required.
• Willingness to travel extensively and undertake long-term assignments at project sites ov erseas.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), photovoltaic (PV), or wind power projects.
• Low-voltage and/or high-voltage electrical certification, or equivalent electrical qualifications.
• xpavfwm Experience working on international projects or in a multicultural environment.
