Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our sustainability team as an ESG expert. This role offers a unique opportunity to play an important role within our sustainability department and gain hands-on experience in various aspects of corporate sustainability initiatives. As an ESG lead consultant, you will lead the team in research, data analysis, and the further development of our software to address climate issues.

Tasks

• Lead research teams on corporate, product, and supply chain sustainability issues, including literature reviews, data collection, organization, and analysis;
• Manage sustainability projects for clients, ensuring reliable delivery of compliant GHG studies and product LCAs;
• Source relevant datasets and statistics to support calculation models;
• Perform ad-hoc calculations to support sustainability projects;
• Maintain organized records with clear data structuring and file management;
• Communicate results clearly and concisely to stakeholders;
• Document research and work progress appropriately;
• Assist in editing, compiling reports, presentations, and related deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Law, Material Science, Sustainability, or Resource & Energy Management;
• 3+ years of experience in company carbon footprint and ESG roles;
• Proven experience with the GHG protocol and performing LCAs;
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines;
• Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and/or Google Workspace apps;
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain clear records;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Proficiency in Italian and English;
• Skills in consulting, project management, and research are a plus;
