About the Company: For an important joint venture in the recycling market, our Recruitment Engineers are looking for an ERP Specialist - Finance.
Core Responsibilities:
This role involves leading European ERP implementations, optimizing financial modules, and providing strategic advice to our Business Owners and Key Users. He/She will be responsible for delivering best-in-class Infor ERP solutions that enhance financial performance, regulatory compliance, and reporting capabilities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- End-to-end implementation of the Infor M3 ERP system, specifically the financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, and Cash Management);
- Design, configure, and customize ERP systems based on business needs, ensuring alignment with accounting principles and financial reporting standards;
- Manage and collaborate with external ERP consultants;
- Oversee ERP upgrades, migrations, and optimization projects, ensuring minimal business disruption;
- Provide expert advice on Infor’s ERP system functionalities, identifying best practices to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting;
- Collaborate with Finance Teams to map out business requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
- Advise Finance Teams on financial workflows, internal controls, and regulatory compliance (GAAP, IFRS, SOX);
- Collaborate with the CTO and other internal stakeholders to manage ICT and business projects in the financial area;
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring the successful delivery of ERP projects.
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred;
- Fluency in Italian and English (both speaking and writing);
- Experience in a consultancy company or within an IT department with a similar function;
- Experience with major ERP systems (e.g., Infor, SAP, JDEdwards, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite);
- Proven track record in ERP implementations for financial processes, including budgeting, consolidation, and financial reporting;
- Deep understanding of financial accounting processes and standards, including GAAP, IFRS, SOX, and local tax regulations;
- Advanced knowledge of ERP system configurations for general ledger, financial statements, accounts payable/receivable, and asset management;
- Strong ability to analyze and understand business requirements and convert them into effective ERP solutions;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial processes and ERP functionality to non-technical stakeholders;
- Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills;
- Cross-Functional Teamwork: Partner closely with cross-functional teams;
- Adaptability, with the ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced client environments;
- Actively contribute to a culture of collaboration by sharing insights, participating in team discussions, and encouraging innovative thinking.
