About the Job

You will be part of the Equipment Specialists team responsible for mechanical design, procurement, and supplier management of equipment (compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, packages, etc.).

Key interfaces include Project teams, Procurement, Process, Construction departments, other engineering disciplines, Clients, and Suppliers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring timely and quality preparation of project technical specifications in coordination with other disciplines;
  • Preliminary equipment design to calculate minimum thicknesses and foundation loads;
  • Preparing material requisitions for inquiry;
  • Conducting technical analysis of received bids;
  • Preparing material requisitions for purchase;
  • Managing detailed engineering phases and technical follow-up of orders, ensuring proper communication with suppliers;
  • Adhering to the committed man/hours and budget;
  • Meeting quality and HSE objectives of the project;
  • Interfacing with other discipline engineers and project support functions such as planning and cost control engineers.

You will have opportunities for business trips to attend technical meetings with clients or suppliers, visit vendor workshops, and occasionally support engineering activities directly on-site for erection, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities.

About You

  • Experience: No prior experience required.
  • Qualifications: Degree with full marks in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  • Preferred skills: CAD, 3D software proficiency.
  • Languages: Italian (native), English (fluent).
  • Main skills: teamwork, enthusiasm, proactivity, curiosity in tackling new issues.
