Trane Italia is hiring an Equipment Sales Area Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing trusting customer relationships and maximizing account share and customer retention with building owner accounts for the Triveneto area. The role includes growing the business with existing Agents, instrumental from a market penetration perspective.

Responsibilities :

  • Identify sales opportunities, qualify them, collaborate with Application and Quotation teams to create proposals, present them to customers, follow up, negotiate prices and terms within company guidelines, and acquire orders.
  • Achieve sales and customer development targets focusing on commercial customer acquisition and growth.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop comprehensive solutions, address customer requirements, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Grow business with existing Agents and develop long-term relationships, providing sales leadership for all sales processes.
  • Ensure effective collaboration between Agents to offer the best solutions.
  • Support customer growth and loyalty through continuous assistance.
  • Develop contract proposals aligned with company terms in collaboration with legal teams.
  • Identify and communicate service opportunities.
  • Maintain and update internal systems regularly and report key metrics to management.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, providing feedback to management.
  • Participate in marketing activities such as exhibitions and events if necessary.
  • Comply with company policies, processes, and procedures, adhering to high ethical standards and ethics and compliance rules.

Requirements :

  • Technical Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, or Aeronautic Engineering.
  • At least 5-6 years of proven experience in technical sales, managing external agencies, preferably in HVAC (e.g., chillers, heat pumps).
  • Self-motivated with a hunter mindset, eager to overachieve sales targets and build lasting customer relationships.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, influencing skills, high integrity, and adaptability.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, highly organized, capable of remote work; position involves 70% field trips.
  • Fluent in Italian and communicative in English.
