Job summary

Pi School in Rome is seeking an EO AI Engineer (Agents & Integrations) to join the AI Research team full-time. You will design and implement EVE's agent orchestration, build MCP servers/clients to access EO tools and services, and enable agent-to-agent communication with A2A protocols.

You will help design sub-agents and routing logic, improve latency, and contribute to open-source releases and docs. The role focuses on LangGraph-based orchestration, multimodal EO expansion, and community

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with LangGraph to build multi-agent apps beyond simple chains.
• Experience with MCP servers/tools or integrating MCP into agents.
• Knowledge of Agent2Agent (A2A) protocol and inter-agent communication.
• Experience with LLM-based agents and tool-using systems (function calling, multi-step orchestration).
• Strong Python engineering skills.
• Excellent proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement EVE's agent orchestration with LangGraph.
• Build MCP servers/clients to expose EO tools and services.
• Implement agent-to-agent communication with A2A protocols.
• Design specialised sub-agents and routing logic between them.
• Evaluate agent behaviour for accuracy, robustness, and latency.
• Follow state-of-the-art in agentic systems and publish prototypes.
• Contribute tutorials, notebooks, and docs for the ecosystem.
