Position Summary

Our Manager-In-Training (MIT) program offers a structured 16-week interactive training experience focusing on management skills, including:

• General Training & Comprehension: Perform and teach housekeeping and laundry duties, operate industrial equipment.
• Leadership Development: Assist in training, quality control, and staff support.
• Policies & Procedures: Ensure standards, safety, inventory, and customer service are met.
• Reporting: Maintain and deliver reports on income, expenses, supplies, and personnel.
• Training & Quality Control: Responsible for staff training and quality assessments.
• Leadership: Handle managerial responsibilities including payroll, staffing, coaching, purchasing, and budgeting.

• Communication: Effectively relay directives from management to staff.

• Safety: Use PPE, handle chemicals safely, report issues, and follow infection control protocols.

• Punctuality: Maintain attendance and respond promptly to communications.

• Customer Experience: Represent HCSG positively through courteous interactions.

• Experience: Maintain tactful and positive interactions with staff and guests.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude, ability to follow instructions, perform routine tasks.
• Leadership skills post-training, safe work practices.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills, record-keeping, and report completion.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift, push, and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
• Residence within the service area.
