A leading advisory firm specializing in sustainability seeks an EHS Due Diligence Consultant for their Milan office. This role involves conducting environmental audits, supporting ESG evaluations, and collaborating on diverse sustainability projects within various industries.

Consultants in the M&A team work on a wide range of interesting projects including ESG management consultancy, advisory and due diligence covering decarbonisation, EHS, climate risk and social / human rights aspects.
To support the successful delivery of our growth ambition, the team is looking to appoint a motivated, detail-oriented EHS Due Diligence Consultant who will support with the delivery of EHS and ESG audits to a range of clients from the financial services (including private equity) and the corporate sector (manufacturing, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food etc.) Our office is in Milan, and we offer flexible working arrangements. The role will require frequent travel (mostly within the country) to the work site.
Environmental, health and safety (EHS) audits to support mergers and acquisition, regulatory compliance audits, supply chain audit programs.
Audits on environmental, social, governance (ESG) issues, to help companies and corporations identifying reputational risks and opportunities for sustainable development.
Supporting project managers in requested activities such as research for information, writing reports, proposal preparation, etc.
Delivering multiple project tasks or components, including proposals
EHS due diligence experience across EHS (HSE) and experience or interest in developing experience in sustainability disciplines (ESG) as a consultant.
Working knowledge of Italian and English is required, knowledge of other languages will be considered as a plus (preferred French and / or Spanish).
Good knowledge of Italian Environmental and EHS legislation . Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently.
