  • Provide expert training and coaching on product ecology throughout the development and validation phases.
  • Offer technical advice on low-energy designs and guide engineering efforts in areas like reuse, remanufacturing, recycling, and carbon emissions.
  • Lead product environmental projects, ensuring they align with objectives, timelines, budgets, and regulatory standards from inception to completion.

Schindler is seeking a dedicated Environmental Engineer to join our Global Technology Department and play a pivotal role in delivering environmentally sustainable and energy-efficient products and services.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) to evaluate and enhance product footprint.
  • Support product certification, material declarations, and the creation of Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) and Health Product Declarations (HPD).
  • Monitor environmental trends and ensure product compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and implement innovative tools and methods for automating eco-design processes across product development.
  • Provide expert training and coaching on product ecology throughout the development and validation phases.
