About the role:

As an Environmental Engineer, you will be part of the Technical Services Team, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and standards, and maintaining accurate records and reports.

You will report to the Technical Services Manager and be based in Monfalcone, Italy. This position requires 100% on-site presence.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Manage applicable mandatory environmental provisions: Identify applicable environmental provisions, prepare paperwork for authorization requests by contacting Public Administration or working with external consultants, develop activities/tools/means (including procedures, operating instructions, training) to ensure compliance, maintain environmental certifications, and implement environmental programs reported by Westinghouse.
2. Implement and control the environmental management system: Develop and implement systems including policies, procedures, and training, collect and organize data, participate in internal audits, and organize audits for suppliers and contractors.
3. Personnel training: Train staff on environmental aspects and impacts related to their activities and proper management methods.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in environmental engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations, including UNI EN ISO 14001 guidelines.
• Proficiency in Italian and English.
