Environmental Engineer

Responsibilities include :

  • Perform Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) to evaluate and enhance product footprint.
  • Support product certification, material declarations, and the creation of Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) and Health Product Declarations (HPD).
  • Monitor environmental trends and ensure product compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and implement innovative tools and methods for automating eco-design processes across product development.
  • Provide expert training and coaching on product ecology throughout development and validation phases.
  • Offer technical advice on low-energy designs and guide engineering efforts in reuse, remanufacturing, recycling, and reducing carbon emissions.
  • Lead environmental projects, ensuring alignment with objectives, timelines, budgets, and regulatory standards from inception to completion.

Qualifications include :

  • Master’s degree in sustainability, environmental science, or a related field (preferred).
  • Expertise in LCA methods, circular economy, climate change strategies, and low-carbon product development.
  • Experience in quantifying environmental impacts in building and industrial sectors.
  • Knowledge of key environmental indicators such as carbon, water, energy, and resource use.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams globally.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills; fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
